James Thompson, investment manager at Taylor Patterson, passed his final financial planning exams and has become the first non-Director within the Preston-based financial advisory group to obtain chartered status. This achievement is testimony to James’ ambition to progress within Taylor Patterson, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2004.
Michelle Cowsley, marketing coordinator within the firm also received top marks for her chartered marketing qualification and was awarded Lancashire Business School’s best marketing student 2011. Michelle has also been nominated for the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s regional student of the year award.
Summer exam success continues within the Wealth Management team as Keith Pressler, business development manager passed his penultimate CII exam and graduate trainees Neil Stewart and Daniel Barrell passed the CII RO1 – Financial services, regulations and ethics module the CII RO2 Investment principles and risk module respectively.
In the Financial Planning division Iwan Probert passed his investment planning exam with just two more papers left to get chartered status. Anja Ford, trainee financial planner also received excellent news having passed her CII JO2 Trusts exam and is on track to meet her personal goal to become a fully qualified chartered financial adviser in the next couple of years.
