Mattioli Woods’ Preston Office (Taylor Patterson Group), is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards 2016 on Thursday 10 March.
The Red Rose Awards is the event where Lancashire business, commerce, and industry are celebrated. It provides the best possible platforms to promote success, and to encourage inter-trading in the county.
With up to 26 awards up for grabs in various sectors and business size categories, there’s something for all businesses in Lancashire to aim for.
Since Lancashire Business View launched the Awards in 2011, it has steadily grown and become the centrepiece attraction for the business community in the county, with the sell-out ceremony taking place at the magnificent Empress Ballroom at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
Gillian Bardin, Managing Director at Taylor Patterson said:
“As a previous winner of a Red Rose Award, we know what it means to be recognised in the Lancashire business community. We are delighted that Mattioli Woods are sponsoring the new CSR Award 2016 as it demonstrates the values and culture both Mattioli Woods and Taylor Patterson share. We are very much looking forward to the judging process and getting to meet some great Lancashire businesses.”
Mattioli Woods has a firm, long-standing commitment to the communities in which it operates, and charities close to its heart. Over 2015, the Group has raised over £56,000 for charity Breast Cancer Now by means of various fundraising activities, events, and challenges.
Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, and believes that if we all act now, by 2050 no one will die from breast cancer.
Mark Slaviero, Head of Group Marketing at Mattioli Woods said:
“We are honoured to be sponsoring the Corporate Social Responsibility Award this year as CSR is at the heart of Mattioli Woods’ ethos and values. We have always been keen to ensure our staff can engage with their local communities and charities. This social awareness is present throughout the business, from our employees to our clients, our professional connections and the suppliers we use.”
“Being a good corporate citizen is an essential part of growth and success for any organisation. These awards provide a real showcase of great company practice, and we are delighted to be involved in honouring business and community leaders who place the same level of importance on giving back to the community as we do”.
The Red Rose Awards 2016 is open for entries until midnight on 15 January 2016. Head to the Red Rose Awards website for more information.
