Preston-based financial services group, Taylor Patterson, has launched its first senior management programme to develop ‘directors of the future’.
Five associate directors have been appointed who will undergo a two-year training programme to equip them with the skills and expertise necessary for a leadership role.
The move reflects the company’s commitment to strong management and a desire to establish the next generation of directors to grow the business.
The associate directors are: Kerry Houghton in the SIPP and SSAS (bespoke pension products) division; Louise Potter and Jason Street in financial planning; and Keith Pressler and James Thompson in wealth management.
Louise joins Taylor Patterson as a new recruit from RSM Tenon. She commented: “This is an excellent opportunity to progress my career and I am really pleased to have joined Taylor Patterson at such exciting time for the company.”
Each associate director has developed a business plan for their division and their progress against defined objectives will be measured by the board of directors. If their performance has been successful at the end of the two-year programme, the associate directors will be invited to become directors of Taylor Patterson.
Managing director, Gillian Bardin, said the programme was developed to encourage ambitious and forward-thinking staff members to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
